Kelechi

Human trafficking is a common, tragic phenomenon, that is happening in the underbelly of our communities right now. Women and girls are disproportionately affected by modern slavery, accounting for 71% of domestic and 99% of sexual exploitation slavery.

Kelechi thought she was leaving Nigeria to come to England where she would study for a Law Degree. Instead, she became a domestic slave for a middle class family living in London.

In this 15 minute short starring Adja Gaye, we get an insight into Kelechi's daily life as a domestic slave. The stakes are high and the emotions are real.
